 | | Group Photo | A beautiful day of rugby saw six teams converge upon Seoul from all across the Korean peninsula. They came to compete in the first leg of the Korea Tens Series. Spectators and players alike enjoyed 15 games of highly contested, well-spirited rugby. Check out the photo gallery to see Robin Ash's photos of the event, or click through to read more.
 | | Jaseng Hospital | The day was a huge success - over 300 minutes of rugby and over 400 points were witnessed, with not a single card being shown. With so much rugby being played on the harsh surface of Jamwon pitch, the medical staff were kept busy all day. Thankfully Jaseng Hospital were up to the task and provided excellent cover all day.
 | | Winners | In the end, The Seoul Survivors ran out easy winners - winning all their games by scoring 198 points and conceding a mere 12. It was a fine display by the Survivors, demonstrating a glut of offensive options, as well as a stalwart defence. Special mention must go to the boot of Newton Thompson, who kicked a lot of points from some very difficult positions. Other players of mention include Brian Bruckman and Rico Colon who put on an excellent displays in the forwards, and Kurt Taogaga, Hikaro Tamoto, and Nathan Atkins who ran in a lot of tries in the backs. But, of course, it was a huge team effort and everyone played their part in what was an excellent result for the Survivors.
 | | Korea Tens | The Gumi Barbarians finished second in the league, with an extra-time 15-10 win over Korea University, who themselves finished third. Cheongju took revenge over the SS Killer Bees with a tense 12-5 win, to take fourth place. The SS Killer Bees finished fifth, and a weakened Jeonnam Aliens (who had travelled by far the furthest) finished sixth. |
