The Survivors sent a full-strength, well-prepared, and well-drilled team to Beijing this weekend in the hopes of securing a win, and in-turn the Yellow Sea Cup.
A big Survivors pack dominated the forward play, constantly pushing back the Beijing scrum, showing good mauling and rucking, and powering over to score two of the Survivors' three tries. However, the Devils were able to soak up the Survivors pressure, and showed good tactical awareness by using a long kicking game to peg the Survivors back and bypass their solid defensive line. The Devils were able to match the Survivors three tries, and score more points off the boot.
An exciting but disappointing game for the Survivors ended 25-17 in favour of the Devils. A last minute try by the Devils meant that the Survivors failed to secure a bonus point and finished their YSC campaign on 8 points.
