For those itchin to know  - I'll write something quick - but honestly I still don't have the energy to go into great detail - so you'll just have to wait for the official tour report from our captain.

For those who don't already know - we were playin the the bowl championship - and were pooled with the Taipei Giants, the Flying Elvises from Malaysia and The Pot Belly Pigs from Hong Kong.

We played the Taipei Giants first - a team of Taiwanese Nationals - very organized and drilled - about what you'd expect from an Asian contingent.  Anyways - we lost.  We probably could have beaten them -  but we were far too drunk/hungover.  Close game nonetheless.

We then played the Flying Elvises - we crushed them.  I don't even remember them having posession actually - final score 35-5 (or something similar).  For those at home - that's a try roughly every minute and a half.  Well fuckin' done lads!

Finally we played the Hong Kong side - real close match - so close in fact - that we tied 12-12 - but because we killed the Elvi - we were pooled 2nd and they were pooled 3rd.

On Sunday we started our bowl run by playin a Japanese team - Tokyo Gaijin - and we crushed them too - final score 41-5.  Brilliant play by everybody as is demonstrated by the diversity of people that scored tries.

In the semi-finals we played Cebu - a Philipino team, very small - very quick - expect for their number 1 who was massive - but Ben took him out in fine form.  Final score 19-0

And in the finals we played the Hong Kong side again (I use the word "again" loosely as they were wearing the same uniforms as the day previous - but the bodies underneath were quite different).  Final score 35 to 7.  Gotta tell ya - everybody there - more then a little pissed off about that one.

Anyways doesn't matter now anyways - it was a great time - best team I've ever toured with.  The forwards dominated and intimidated - the backs were clever and fast - over all the only weakness wasn't the guys on the field  it was the lack of guys that came.

Ah well - always next year - where do I sign up?
