The boys & support crew had a wicked time in the land of endless heat, and I guess everyone is far too faded to write anything yet so I will let a few things slip...

We were a little rusty early on in the trip - so we got all our kinks and misfires out in the first game (which I believe is tradition) and lost to the pot bellies. We started to feel the groove against the ex-pro team (Lyeton) and only just lost to them. Facing a day of losses we played our last game against the Nomads, I believe, and finally hitting our straps we kicked some butt with the forwards sealing the plays of the day with every try. But, there's debate what role Justin plays - he just hijacks anything he can get his hands on!!!

So, we actually earned a drink and enjoyed finishing on a high.

Sunday looked ominous with a far too early kick off and ever more drastic wake-up call. The nights antics are for those on tour but the meal was delicious for a few!!!! Anyway, we woke, played are hearts out and really found our true Survivors' form with a big win first up.

Then, we played the the asian french babas in the semi-final. The nerves were starting to bubble with the opportunity of a grand final game if we won and with that we ripped into them and the forwards and backs played like they were blessed and we moved straight into the the big 1...

The Grand Final - Ted was as proud as punch and felt destiny was on our side - I got a bloody knee in the back in the last minute from a bloody frenchman and I was a mummuring mess - we waited and waited and finally took the field at 4 something against the Hong Kong based squad!!!!
