We have been invited to go to Manila to play against the Philippines national side in June. June 20th, to be exact; they are looking for a full 15s game of rugby against tough opposition to help them get ready for their IRB matches.
It would be a great opportunity for us to have a good game of rugby on a great pitch & also base it around another fun weekend in Manila. As well, playing against an official national side is not something that you often get the chance to do. They will help us with ground transportation there and so on & undoubtedly put a few beers in us at the pitch after the game. They asked me to give them a final answer within the next 3 weeks, so they can make other arrangements if necessary. Again, the game would be on June 20th – we could fly down on Friday the 19th & return on Sunday the 21st |
