Chris McDonald
Rugby Name: Frosty
Years as a Survivor: Anyone who played Rugby is a Survivor!
Country: England/Hongkong/Australia
Position: Flat on my back most of the time!
Current Club: Retired
Favorite Tour: HK Koalas/Manila Nomads 1976
Comments: Got a look at your website via the 3Alley Pub and noted you also made tours to Manila, and I remember well some fine outings against the Nomads while with the Hongkong Koalas, seems a century ago. I think they actually owned their own bar somewhere in Makati? The HK Koalas was made up of many nationalities [all Survivors then!] A great club sadly defunct since the PRC take-over in '97. Have a buddy who drinks at the 3Alley Pub and hope to be up in Seoul early-06 so might bump into a couple of Seoul Survivors for a beer. Good Luck on your next tour.

Rugby Name: Fitzy
Years as a Survivor: 1997
Country: Canada
Position: Hooker/Flank
Current Club: Saint John Trojans RFC
Favorite Tour: Raggae Pub
Comments: Just wanted to say Hi to all Survivors! I was in Korea for about 5 months in '97 and played every weekend (you know... the side kick of the Kid). My deepest sympathies to the family of "The Great Captain". I had a chance to meet him once as I played with him in the Canada vs The World match. I'll never forget that he played barefoot.... he was a very tough player! My friend, Nat Halleman's, has been sending some good pics from her current sojourn to Korea. I see she is out with the Survivors... and I've noticed one other familar face in those photos... Fonzie! I know it's been a while, but good to see a familar face. Cheers.

Rugby Name: Dave Clark what else
Years as a Survivor: i survived 2 years in Korea!!
Country: Germany
Position: Prop
Current Club: Huessenstamm
Favorite Tour:
Comments: I was at Camp Casey for two years and I must say my best memories of Korea are on the pitch. I am now stationed in Germany. Playing for our military select side and started up a local military team, but I also play for a German team. Which is great except the language barrier. "Ich mochte ein beer" is only half the calls on the pitch here. We actually have a full time rugby pitch with real grass(I was started to think these things were only legends of old)and a club house. Hope everyone is doing well. Not sure how Casey rugby is doing, probably not well considering most of the boys are now fighting in Iraq. take care Dave Clark
